Kieran Cunningham has worked in metal design since 1977 and is based in Blessington, County Wicklow. He has developed a unique range of handcrafted modern Irish jewellery. His designs are influenced by Ireland’s rich ancient Celtic heritage and tradition.

Kieran individually handcrafts each piece of jewellery. He uses hand-tools to create hand-chiselled scroll effects and shining hammered finishes. This is an age-old tradition of Celtic jewellery crafting. This form of jewellery making, passed down through the centuries, is used by very few jewellers, so Kieran is keeping this skill alive.

Kieran’s original designs are individually handcrafted from raw materials. He uses sterling silver, yellow gold, brass, copper and alpaca silver, often mixing the metals.

Kieran has been supplying Totally Irish Gifts since 2013. I have met Kieran on several occasions at various craft shows, including at Ireland’s national trade fair ‘Showcase’, which is held every January in Dublin. Kieran, along with his beautiful jewellery, is very impressive and reliable. He believes in quality, which is evident from his stunning jewellery.
