Beautiful Burren Candle Holder, handmade pottery Ireland. This is such a lovely gift and suitable for lots of different occasions.
This candle holder is suitable for small pillar candles or tea light candles. The round base of this holder is large enough to be very safe to burn small pillar candles. The wax collects in the base, let it cool and then remove easily.
Designed and handmade by Raquel Walsh, Creative Clay. Raquel’s design of this beautiful ceramic piece takes inpiration from the iconic landscape of the Burren, West Clare. The landscape of the Burren has developed over hundreds of millions of years. Many rare and common wildflowers can be found there. This Candle Holder is decorated with a selection wildflowers that grow in the wild and rugged Burren. Amongst which is a tiny ladybird. The colours of this beautiful piece are also inspired by the Burren. The lovely mottled green base represents the moss, the grey and green background behind the flowers represent the stones of the Burren. The lovely yellow, blue, white and pink 3d flowers which make their appearance in the Burren at various stages of the year. This is a winning gift.
