Trinity Knot
Also known as the Triquetra, is one of the best known symbols in Celtic culture. The Celtic Christian church used it to represent the Holy Trinity, i.e., Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Trinity Knot was also used to symbolise and honour the Mother, Maiden and Crone of the neo-pagan triple goddess. It signifies the three life-cycles or stages of womanhood in relation to the phases of the moon. Other special things of three include the unity of the body, mind and soul; the past, present and future.
