The Trinity Knot was also used to symbolise and honour the Mother, Maiden and Crone of the neo-pagan triple goddess. It signifies the three life-cycles or stages of womanhood in relation to the phases of the moon. Other special things of three include the unity of the body, mind and soul; the past, present and future.
