Bog Oak Pen

A good looking pen with a lovely feel.  Handcrafted by Donegal Pens. The wood for this pen has been hand-selected, then dried and seasoned for years. The pen is hand-turned, polished, waxed and examined. A modern pen for both writing and using on a touch screen.

• Handcrafted traditional style wooden pen
• Genuine Bog Oak, dating back between 2,000 – 6,000 years, sourced from various parts of Ireland
• With a soft end rubber tip (stylus) to use on any touch screen such as smart phone, ipad, etc.
• Golden trim
• Cross style ballpoint black ink (refills are easily be sourced from most good stationery stores)
• Black presentation pen box – quality eco-friendly hard cardboard black box.
• Colour of current stock: light to mid brown.

Please note: as with the nature of handcrafted wooden products each pen may show a slightly different wood grain or colouring, making each one unique but still of an extremely high quality and beauty. Please also allow for differences in screen colour and resolution.

The colouring of the Bog Oak can vary from brown to very dark brown. This depends on how deep within the bog the wood has laid. The deeper the wood has been retrieved the darker the wood. Current stock of Bog Oak Pens for this gift set are a beautiful light-mid brown colour.
