A very beautiful Irish Pottery Ringfort Plate. Apart from adorning your table, this beautiful piece can also be used as a wall hanging plate, as the design of the plate includes a hanging hole on the back. Note: wire or cord not included.
The shape of this large plate is inspired by the Maker’s love of the many ancient ringforts dotted around Ireland. The edges of this unique plate jut out like the ruins of our ancient ringforts. The plate’s middle circles mimic the rings of these ancient forts. While the colouring of the plate is inspired by the seacape in County Waterford
Handcrafted by Amanda Murphy, who uses hand thrown methods and high fired stoneware clay, oxides and coloured glass. The way the glaze and glass melt during firing is different each time, making each bowl completely unique.
This Irish Pottery Ringfort Plate is handmade, therefore each piece is completely unique. Your bowl will be different from the images shown, but will be of the same quality and beauty. Note: please also allow for screen resolution and colour differences.
