The Triquetra Wooden Wall Plaque is an extra special gift. Handcrafted from Maple and Sepele, this wooden wall plaque has beautiful grains and textures.
The Triquetra, which literally means three cornered and also known as the Trinity knot, is one of the most recognisable of the Celtic knotworks. Represents special things in threes, such as the unity of the body, mind and soul; physical, mental and spiritual; or the past, present and future; in the Christian faith represents the Holy Trinity, i.e., Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Triquetra was also used to symbolise and honour the Mother, Maiden and Crone of the neo-pagan triple goddess, it signifies the three life-cycles or stages of womanhood in relation to the phases of the moon.
Designed and handmade in Co Galway, Ireland. This is a substantial wall plaque and will look amazing in both traditional and contemporary homes.
