The Valentia Felted Silk Necktie is handmade from beautiful soft and warm merino wool, highlighted with vibrant mulberry silks, felted onto black silk chiffon using the nuno felting method.
The pattern and colours in this beautiful necktie are inspired by the amazing landscape and scenery of the west coast of Ireland and wild Atlantic Ocean.
This textured necktie is soft and lightweight, but robust. Suitable for tying or wrapping around your neck. Smaller than a conventional scarf, a necktie appeals to those who do not like a lot of material around their necks but still wish to feel warm and look stylish.
Approx dimensions: 37″ length x 5.5″ width
Colour: predominately teal and green felted wool, with smatterings of yellow mulberry silk threads, mixed in with black silk shiffon.
As this necktie is handmade there will be slight variations in pattern, colour and shading to the images shown, but each necktie will be of the same high quality and beauty. Note: please also allow for screen resolution and colour differences.
Care instructions: lukewarm hand wash, dry flat and medium iron. Important, do not Tumble dry or put in washing machine as the scarf will shrink. Care instructions are included on the label of each necktie.
