These Spiral of Life earrings are handcrafted in Co. Wicklow by Kieran Cunningham Jewellery. Made from copper, brass and alpaca silver, they combine warm mixed-metal tones with a Celtic-inspired spiral design.

Story & Significance
Newgrange is a Neolithic passage tomb in the Bru na Boinne landscape of County Meath, dating to around 3200 BC. Its passage and chamber are famously aligned so the winter-solstice sunrise can travel through the roof-box and illuminate the interior.
The spiral patterns associated with Newgrange are older than Celtic art, which makes them especially powerful on contemporary Irish gifts. They suggest sunlight, renewal, mystery and the long memory of a landscape people were shaping more than five thousand years ago.
