This handcrafted Newgrange brooch by Kieran Cunningham is inspired by the famous spirals at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Newgrange. Made in County Wicklow from alpaca silver, the brooch measures approximately 4 cm and offers a meaningful Irish heritage design in a wearable form. Newgrange is a Neolithic passage tomb dating to around 3200 BC, older than Stonehenge and the Pyramids of Giza, and is closely associated with the Winter Solstice.
