A wise old owl sat in an oak,
The more he heard, the less he spoke;
The less he spoke, the more he heard;
Why aren’t we all like that wise old bird?
We all remember this Wise Old Owl nursery rhyme from our childhood. This Wise Owl bronze statue represents a move into the next chapter in our lives, finally living our childhood and college years behind and entering into a new independence following on from achievement.
This gift has an option to include a personalised engraved metal plate. The engraving is undertaken by our local jeweller. The colour of the metal plate can vary, depending on availability, but will compliment the bronze. Please contact us if you would like to discuss this option.

The Wise Owl bronze gift is created by Rynhart Fine Art Bronze. Who are based in beautiful Glengarriff, Co. Cork. Jeanne Rynhart formed this company in 1981 and is well known for famous public sculptures such as Molly Malone, Annie Moore and the Rose of Tralee. In 1994 Jeanne’s daughter, Audrey, teamed up with her. Audrey and her husband, Les Elliott, now run the business from their studio in Glengarriff where their passion for Irish history and Celtic design is evident from their attention to detail in Rynhart bronze art pieces.
Rynhart’s bronze art is individually handmade and is bas relief. The process is labour intensive and starts with delicate, careful modelling. When Rynhart are happy with the model a mould is made and cast. Finally, each piece is polished and finishing touches added.
