This handmade serving dish is from Castle Arch Pottery's Oilean Ban range. The colour is described by the maker as ban, meaning white in Irish, though the finished glaze reads as a rustic light blue-grey. The dish has a wave-contour edge inspired by the Aran Islands and a decorative leaf design in the centre. It is made from bisque-fired stoneware clay and stamped by Castle Arch Pottery. Approximate dimensions are 24 cm at the widest point and 3.5 cm high. As with all handmade pottery, each serving dish may vary slightly in shading and pattern.
