Ireland's Teardrop, Fastnet Lighthouse is a limited-edition mounted print by Irish artist Sean Curran. The artwork depicts the iconic Fastnet Rock Lighthouse off the coast of County Cork. Fastnet became known as Ireland's Teardrop because it was the last view of Ireland for many emigrants leaving Cork for America in the 19th century. The artist's note on the reverse reflects that history and dedicates the piece to those who paved the way for later generations. The mounted print measures 14 x 11 inches and is hand signed and titled by the artist. It is a meaningful Irish gift for anyone with a connection to Cork, emigration history, lighthouses, or the Irish coast.
