This mother of pearl necklace has been inspired by Arianrhod. The Goddess of the moon and stars. Arianrhod is the Celtic Goddess of “Fertility, Rebirth and the Weaving of Cosmic Time and Fate”.

The name “Arianrhod” translates as ‘Silver-Wheel. Which is derived from the Welsh arian, “silver,” and rhod, “wheel”. This Trinity Pearl Necklace represents our own journey and our wheel of life.

Trinity Knot – Triquetra

The Trinity Knot is also known as the Triquetra, which literally means three cornered. The Triquetra predates Christianity. It was the Celtic symbol of the Goddess Odin. It is the best known of all the Celtic knots.

The Celts believed the Triquetra to represent many things of three:

• mind and soul: physical, mental and spiritual;
• earth, sea and sky
• beginning, middle and end – continuity
• the past, present and future

The ancient Celtic Trinity Knot was adopted by Christianity as a symbol of the Holy Trinity. i.e. the Father, Son & Holy Spirit. See this symbol in ancient Irish manuscripts. Such as the famous The Book of Kells. Also found on Celtic crosses and Celtic stones all around Ireland.
