The Story: Boru Jewelry is a family business with roots reaching back to the mid-1980s, when the company was known as Celtic & Heraldic and became known for family coat of arms jewellery. That early focus still matters: Boru pieces are made for people who want jewellery to carry family pride, Irish identity and a story that can be passed on.
In 2003, husband-and-wife team Lisa and Paul O'Neill took the business into its next chapter. They kept much of the original skilled craft team, strengthened production and customer care, and rebranded as Boru, inspired by Brian Boru, Ireland's great High King and a patron of arts, learning and craftsmanship.
The Process: In the Dublin workshop, Boru's designers, polishers and stone setters turn Irish symbols into jewellery with weight, shine and meaning. Sterling silver, gold vermeil, birthstones and fine finishes are shaped around motifs such as the Claddagh for love, loyalty and friendship, the Trinity knot for continuity, shamrocks for Irish identity, Ogham for ancient script and heraldic details for family heritage.
Bespoke Options: Boru Jewelry is especially strong for personalized creations where symbolism matters, including family coat of arms cufflinks, birthstone pieces, Ogham-inspired gifts and Claddagh jewellery chosen for a particular person or occasion.
