This beautiful Bog Oak gift, a Bog Oak Wooden Pen and Letter Opener are hand-turned in Co. Donegal, Ireland. The pen & letter opener gift set have a gold trim. The Bog Oak pen has a Cross style ballpoint black ink, the refill for which can be purchased at good stationery stores. The stylus end tip of the pen is very useful for working on a smartphone or touch-screen device. It helps with accuracy in typing, swiping, highlighting and selection of menus, etc. The letter opener is useful to help open both letters and packages.
Presented in a quality double wooden maple box.
As with the nature of handcrafted wooden products each bog oak pen and letter opener will show a different pattern or colouring to the images shown. This makes each set unique, but still of an extremely high quality and beauty. The shading of the Bog Oak can vary depending on how deep within the bog the wood has laid, the deeper the wood has been retrieved the darker the wood and so shading can range from brown to near black. The current pen and letter openers in stock are a beautiful mid-dark brown colouring.
